The steps differ when it comes to Apple devices.
In this case, you need to create a new account, acting like you are in Japan, instead of switching the region of your current account.
See, if you were to switch the region of your current account, you would lose everything on that account. That’s why it’s important to create a new account.
To do that, sign out of your iCloud account, followed by creating a new one, and simply create a new account, acting as if you were in Japan.
When you have an account, download the Hulu app, and that’s it.
